Listener One

From the age of five, sitting in a salon chair as she had her hair styled for a wedding, she knew exactly who she wanted to become. That moment sparked a lifelong passion — not just for beauty, but for helping people feel seen, confident, and cared for.

She grew up fast, facing hardships early on. After losing her father at just 8 years old — and later, close family and friends — she learned the weight of grief and the strength it takes to move forward. The biggest heartbreak came in 2008 on Valentine's Day when her husband was tragically killed. Life didn't just test her — it demanded she rise again and again.

Despite the losses, her greatest joy and pride comes from being a mother to two incredible grown boys — a role that has shaped her resilience, love, and purpose more than anything else.

Her journey, filled with twists, turns, losses, and victories, inspired her to write her book Split Ends — a true reflection of a life cut, stitched, and healed through courage.

As a hairdresser, she calls herself a therapist behind the chair — listening, comforting, supporting, and becoming a trusted friend to so many. She believes that sometimes all a person needs is someone who will truly listen — without judgment, without criticism, and without rushing them through their pain.

That belief sparked her next chapter: LifeTalkToday, a listening service created to give others the safe, compassionate space she wishes she had during her darkest times.

With warmth, resilience, and a heart shaped by real experience, she is dedicated to helping others feel heard, valued, and never alone. She looks forward to listening — because healing often begins with a simple conversation.
