"I created Life Talk Today out of a passion for listening, supporting, and walking alongside people through life's hardest moments. My own journey has been shaped by profound loss—becoming a widow in 2008 on Valentine's Day, experiencing the passing of parents, family members, and friends, as well as the heartbreak of miscarriage and stillbirth. These experiences, though painful, have given me a deep understanding of grief, resilience, and the importance of having someone who truly listens.
For many years, I've been a hairstylist, and I've come to see that the chair is more than just a place for hair—it's a place where people open up, share their stories, and feel heard. That gift of listening has become one of my greatest strengths. Whether someone is grieving, facing family or relationship struggles, or simply needing someone to talk to, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where people can feel supported.
In addition to grief support, I also work as a dating and relationship coach, helping people navigate love, connection, and personal growth. My mission is simple: to be there when you need someone to listen, encourage, and walk beside you.
Life Talk Today was born out of love, compassion, and the belief that none of us should have to go through life's challenges alone."

My book is a heartfelt memoir and self-help guide, which was therapeutically healing to write because it helped me reflect on my own life! My goal with “Split Ends” is to possibly write a book that is motivational and therapeutic, as well as self-help and help. As a “Hairapist,” I believe a client sits down in the chair and talks to me about everything, and they let me in their life, even if it’s for a quick moment once every 3 to 6 weeks.
The thing I love about my job is the people – the hair is second! I love making people feel beautiful or good about themselves. It’s more than just hair. It’s about being more than just a hairstylist. My clients become family!
Split Ends is not just about hair; it’s about life’s journey, resilience, and the profound impact of human connection. I hope my story will inspire readers to reflect on their own lives, embrace their unique paths, and find healing, motivation, or therapeutic insights.
